Draw.Cut.Fall. (Disappearing Act) is an attempt at interjecting an abyss or a void into an ordinary architectural space, in this case a corner of a room. The piece consists of a flocked, black box (2ft x 2ft x 2ft) with a small viewing hole. When peering inside, the viewer observes a miniature figure projected onto the interior corner of the box. For the next 1 minute and 45 seconds the figure performs a series of actions, including drawing a shape in the corner, cutting it out and falling into the remaining negative space.
